Azoic is a relaxing, atmospheric puzzle game about a golem. From a third-person perspective, you play as a rock golem who comes to life in an ancient Aztec ruin and must solve puzzles to find a way out, bringing life to the overgrown ruins as you explore.
The gameplay revolves around the golem's ability to detach their head from their body, which unlocks a range of abilities – most interaction is done using the body, while most exploration is done using the head.

Saw a facebook ad to give this a spin. I'm glad I did. I was a little skeptical that the "detached head" mechanic was going to be fun, but maybe just a revival of a mechanic found in medieval or Ratchet and Clank. So... I wasn't expecting something so surprisingly innovating! I love that the head is really the player and the body is more like a mechsuit i might temporarily use and abandon.
There is real potential here for the mechanics to build upon: juggling multiple bodies, different types of bodies with different or limited capabilities.
